The highlight of this leg of the trip was getting to see, in my opinion, a couple of the best set of waterfalls that Iceland has to offer. One of them, Aldeyjarfoss, was on my must see list and probably the most out of the way location I’ve been to. And it was well worth it. This was the first waterfalls I had been to with absolutely no tourists. No one at all. A photography guided group tour did roll in as I got to my car to head off to the next set of waterfalls, Godafoss, located quite a bit down stream of the same river as Aldeyjarfoss. See for yourself and tell me what you think.
